Teenage Bad Girl’s Keep Up With You

Easily one of the most overlooked French House acts, Teenage Bad Girl turns out a hair metal video for their second single off of their LP Backwash.

Gold On The Ceiling

The Black Keys

The new Black Keys record is probably their best yet. It sounds like they locked themselves in a warehouse with a mound of guitar rock records and mashed it with their blues sound. Complete with even more overdriven organs.

The December mixtape is now up on the site! Putting this mix together was probably the most fun I’ve had working on this project and I feel like it’s a great way to close out the year- next year will be the 4th year I’ve been doing this. This mix also bends the rules a little bit and instead of being the typical 10 tracks it has 12, with the opening and closing tracks serving as a respective intro and outro to the mix.
Here’s the tracklisting:
Fred Falke - Memories
Citizens! - True Romance
Canyons - Tonight
Phantogram - 16 Years
SONOIO - Enough
Active Child - Ivy
Lovett - Heartattack
Dreamers of the Ghetto - State of a Dream
Unknown Mortal Orchestra - Thought Ballune
Ringo Deathstarr - Shadow (Doppelganger Mix)
The New Division - Munich
Astrobrite - Like Rainkissed
And of course you can download the mix artwork here. Zoom Image

Listen to Canyon's Keep Your Dreams

Modular has made their entire debut LP available for streaming. It sounds like an Australian electro rock band covering the musical ground between Pink Floyd and acid house. Highly recommend checking it out.

Anna Calvi’s Suzanne and I. This track is one of my fav’s and was originally in a mix from early this year. An amazing voice and great guitar tone.
